While this isn't a book directly addressing fertility, the themes in it are so relevant to the TTC process and the author herself mentions how she practiced bravery to go through IVF to finally conceive her son after three miscarriages. This is a book that every woman and every parent or teacher of young girls needs to read. Through her stories and research she outlines the ways that girls are socialized and taught to strive for perfection while boys are more often encouraged to be brave, and the detrimental effect this has since perfection is unattainable while bravery is a skill that can be practiced and achieved. Saujani offers plenty of practical strategies for building a bravery mindset and surviving the inevitable failures that are part of life. Get a taste of what's in the book here:
